“ Stopped here with my daughter, reluctantly, because of the Fairmont location. Wow, I was completely blown away by the food portions and quality. Here is my only complaint. Why is the Fairmont location so God awful? This location's burritos were filled to the rim...easily 20-25% larger than Fairmont's. Every other item we had was twice as large as what Fairmont charges; all at the same prices. The wings, potato skin and fries' portion finally felt like I was getting my moneys worth. This is never the case at the Fairmont location. I really hope upper management sees this post and makes the necessary changes at their Fairmont location to bring the same quality as they obviously pride themselves with at their downtown Morgantown location! ”
“ I've always come here when I'm in town to visit my grandparents. It's not your typical Mexican food or wings. Actually I usually stay away from the wings. However there is just something about their tacos and burritos that is so unique. I love them. And of course, the fries and blue are great. If you want a cheap bite to eat. I definitely recommend Wing Olé. ”
“ I don't quite know what to say about this place. It isn't Mexican. It isn't quite American. But on the Sunday that I visited to meet my Dad to give him my kids so I could go on vacation and it seemed like it was the only restaurant open in Morgantown, it was delicious. This is a strange place. The sign says "Wings Ole Specialty Restaurant." WTF does that mean? Yes, they have wings. "Ole" implies slightly Mexican...but "Specialty" implies NOT Mexican, as you could have put "Wings Ole Mexican Restaurant" on the sign. After learning that Morgantown Brewing Company was closed, and that Black Bear Burritos was similarly closed (does no one eat out in Morgantown on Sunday?), my Dad, the kids, and I thought "why not?" and walked in. Now here's the weird thing: it was weirdly delicious. I had a "fried burrito" (chimichanga?) and a taco. They didn't have a traditional meat in them; it was like they were stuffed with a delicious Sloppy Joe-like concoction. They were both a touch greasy (one was a fried burrito stuffed with greasy meat! - how could they not be greasy?!), but both eminently satisfying. I almost went back to the counter and ordered some more. I am not sure if I returned for a 2nd visit I would be as delighted with this place as I was on this one particular visit. Was I starving so it came across as magically delicious? Or was it genuinely good? I don't know. Based on the words in this review, I think I would have an impossible time talking my wife into a visit the next time we pass through Morgantown...but if I'm ever in Morgantown by myself (or with someone with a little more adventurous/less choosy palate), I will be going for a second try to see if I was just deranged that day, or if this place has genuine so-bad-it's-delicious appeal. ”
